I miss the '80s! And it's not just because I was a carefree child, riding my bike around the neighborhood with my friends, looking for treasure (we might have been a bit influenced by "The Goonies"). Sure, being a child was a lot more fun than being an adult, but it's not just that. Take, for example, the year 1984, exactly 40 years ago; Do you realize how many awesome movies came out in that year alone?! 

We're talking Ghostbusters, Gremlins, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, The Karate Kid, Footloose, Beverly Hills Cop, The NeverEnding Story, The Terminator, Dune (the original one), The Muppets Take Manhattan, Splash, Sixteen Candles, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Police Academy, AND The Ewok Adventure! (Okay, that last one was bad.) All of that in one year! What has 2024 given us so far? Inside Out 2 and Dune 2? Not even close!
